Due to a critical bug that sometimes makes the user interface unresponsive, we released version 2.1.1. This is a highly recommended upgrade for all users. You can upgrade your copy by clicking Help > Check for Updates in the menu.
This release also fixes a few other bugs. The rest of the changes are documented in the release notes.

I was just about to send you an email about the bug causing Fanurio to freeze up and then I received the notification of a new version with the bug already fixed

I do have a suggestion for you though – set the internal update check to once a week as well as on start up. Because my computer runs 24 hours a day I don’t receive the next update notification until I have to restart Fanurio or reboot. That can be some time after a new update has been released…

This bug was reported a few times when version 2.1 was still in beta but we weren’t able to reproduce it. After we released it, we received a lot more similar reports that helped us understand what was causing this problem.
I’ve just added a new issue on the todo list to improve the update mechanism. The check for updates interval will be configurable and will run even if the application is not restarted.
